Dr. Bragg: “Make yourself a product. Convert yourself to like a product. If you were selling Katie Juice, which is sweetened and has a good, you know, it just makes you energetic and it tastes good too. And it’s nice and cool on a hot summer day, you’re bragging about Katie’s juice, right?
So how come you can’t talk about Katie the same way? Convert Katie to a juice. Katie is a young woman who started a podcast at a young age because she wanted to help women to be able to have, and this became contagious over time. And after two or three years, she had so many views on her podcasts.”
Katie: “Yeah.”
Dr. Bragg: “You see?”
Katie: “Yeah.”
Dr. Bragg: “Katie’s Juice, isn’t it?”
Katie: “Yeah.”
Dr. Bragg: “Right. And you see how the difference is how you do that. So if you do it, uh, you know, just talk to people from a conversational standpoint, the way I talked about Katie’s juice and Katie’s broadcast and, you know, try to make it where it’s a story, a memorable.
Then people, you may be bragging, but it’s done in a different way than I went to Harvard, I had a 4.0 average, and I was the only one who did this, that and the other.
You’re Katie’s Juice, what you did to help people and, what was the result of what you did? Do you see how that comes across better?
Katie: “Yeah. Yeah, it does.”
