How to Achieve Your Goals Quickly – Use the NIP IT Strategy

Oct 1, 2024 | Tip for a Terrific Tuesday

I want to give you a tip today on how you can have a terrific Tuesday.

We’ve been talking about goals, and I want you to know that, first of all, you’re worthy of achieving your goals.

You deserve to be successful.

I’ve talked about focusing on what’s holding you back, because if we can erase the things that are holding us back, we can move forward.

But one of the things I want you to think about is that when we think about a problem that’s holding us back, oftentimes we as humans make that problem bigger than it needs to be.

It becomes more dramatic.

Say for instance you are a skier and you’re trying to ski down the slope. If all you think about are the trees that you see, then guess what’s going to happen?

You’re going to hit a tree.

So as you ski, you have to follow the path.

And the same thing happens when you have a problem that arises in your relationships, in your business deals, or in your finances.

You have to focus on the solutions rather than the problems before you.

And so what I say is to think about how you can nip this in the bud — NIP.

When you have that problem, think about nipping it — “N” — navigating it, and seeing the bigger picture.

And then for the “I” in NIP — I want you to think about being a internet lover, because when you’re an internet lover, that means when you have a problem and you’re on the internet, you’re searching what can I do about it?
When you do, you’re inquiring as to what some next steps could be — N-I.

And the last letter, “P,” stands for pursuing your action plan, thinking about positive people in your life that you can talk to, and looking at possibilities.

So N-I-P. NIP it in the bud, and that will keep you from being held back as you think about your goals.
