Prayers for the University of Virginia Football Players Families

Today, I’m sending my condolences and prayers to the families of the three University Virginia football players who were killed in a shooting on Sunday night. I’m also sending prayers that the two other students who were injured will recover fully. Our thoughts and prayers also go out to all the students and faculty at UVA and the Charlottesville community. I ask that each of you join me and send support to the University of Virginia and the Charlottesville community during this difficult time. A time, which reminds us again that we are experiencing too many young people with bright futures loss as a result of gun violence. We owe it to them and our families to reach out to our politicians and ask them to do what they can to stop this public health crisis.
