Jalen Hurts’ Path to Superbowl MVP – A Story of Determination and Overcoming Adversity

This is Dr. Bragg with a tip for a terrific tuesday.

Did you watch the Super Bowl on Sunday night? I did.

Many of you may know that I’m a fan of Jalen Hurts.

He went to the University of Alabama, my alma mater, so I have followed him since he was in college. I have been at football games when he had some adversities during national championship games.

But do you know what I like about him?

He has class and character.

And now look where he is today.

Because of his determination and his ability to stay the course and overcome adversities, last Sunday, he was able to become the Most Valuable Player in the Super Bowl because he led the Philadelphia Eagles to a triumphant victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

But what do we learn from this? We learn that life has its ups and downs, that we all will have adversities.

But can we stay the course?

Can we turn discouragement to determination? And can we remain resilient like Jalen Hurts did?

I’m sharing this with you so that you, too, can think about where you are today and what you may be faced with, what obstacles, what adversities.

But look within and pull out some determination, so that you, too, can reach your goals like Jalen did.

And not only did his team win the Super Bowl, but he became the Most Valuable Player.
