You Know How to Own Your Value with Authentic Confidence?

Jul 31, 2025 | Tip for a Terrific Tuesday

July 31, 2025

A lot of people think confidence comes from how loud you speak, how firm your handshake is, or how many degrees you have on your wall.

But real confidence is about knowing your value and being able to communicate it with clarity, consistency, and courage.

When I first started sharing my message with the world, I’d walk into rooms and quietly hope someone would see my value. But here’s the truth: people don’t recognize your worth until you do. If you walk into a space unsure of your value, you’re already giving others permission to overlook it.

It wasn’t until I learned to own my accomplishments, speak clearly about my skills, and stand firm in what I bring to the table, that everything changed. I began walking with intention, speaking with clarity, and delivering with confidence.

Now I want to teach you how to do the same.

Let’s break it down into three simple but powerful steps to elevate your professional presence:

1. Recognize Your Value

Start your day the right way, with yourself.
Look in the mirror and speak life:

“I am qualified. I am ready. I am enough.”
Remind yourself of what you’ve accomplished. Keep an inventory of your wins, your skills, and your strengths. You can’t own your value if you don’t acknowledge it. And when you do this daily, you shift your mindset from self-doubt to self-trust.

2. Share It with Clarity

Confidence doesn’t mean rambling off your résumé. It means being able to clearly and simply say what you do, who you help, and how you make a difference. Whether you’re introducing yourself at a meeting or explaining your role in an interview, your message should be clear, concise, and compelling.

Think of this as your “value statement.” Practice it. Refine it. Own it.

3. Deliver It with Confidence

Speak with conviction, not arrogance, but certainty.
When you talk about what you do, do it with the same energy as someone who knows they’re adding value. Just like an athlete practices for the big game, you need to rehearse your delivery until it feels natural.

Confidence isn’t something you wait to feel. It’s something you build through repetition, preparation, and bold action.

Whether you’re a student, a small business owner, a doctor, or an executive — the principle is the same: Own your value. Share it with clarity. Deliver it with confidence.

That’s how you show up with professional presence.
That’s how you open doors.
That’s how you win.

Let today be the day you stop shrinking and start shining.
