How To Spend Time On What Matters

Dec 19, 2023 | Tip for a Terrific Tuesday

I want you to think about how we spend our time on the things that really matter in the course of a day. We can’t do everything. Here are some tips that you want to think about.

1. You want to first think about not comparing yourself to others. When we spend our time comparing ourselves to others, sometimes our focus gets divided and we’re spending our time on things that don’t matter to us. So first, don’t compare yourself to others.

2. We have to identify what is it we want to give our focus to.

3. Cut out the things that are least important to us. Make a list of things that are least important to us and stop doing them. Then prioritize the most important things.

4. We have to establish boundaries.
We can’t be everything to everybody, so establishing some boundaries will give us time to spend on the things that really matter.

I hope these tips are beneficial to you because we want to learn how to live a stress-free life. And by comparing ourselves to others and not having any boundaries and spending time on things that really aren’t important to us, just adds stress.

Why don’t we make a habit of looking at these tips and seeing which ones we can employ in our lives so that we can realize that life is precious and we want to spend our time on the things that really matter?
