How to Handle Rejection?

Mar 9, 2023 | Tip for a Terrific Tuesday

Have you ever been rejected at work or in a relationship? I know I have. So how did you handle that rejection? I want you to understand this tip. So the next time you are rejected, you won’t feel depressed, overwhelmed, or become very anxious. I want you to understand that rejection can be a catalyst for redirection.

Sometimes we feel overwhelmed from rejection because we are valuing what other people think about us too much and not understanding our own value and not knowing how to communicate our value.

So when you are rejected, take the time to tell yourself that you are enough, that you are good enough. This is why I think that we need to do daily affirmations and always remind ourselves of how good we are when you are rejected.

Sometimes it tells us that we need to rewrite our story. What is the story you’ve been telling yourself that you are not good enough, that maybe you didn’t deserve that job, that maybe you didn’t reserve to be in that relationship when you are rejected?

Rewrite your story and rewrite the story with a good ending for you knowing that you are good enough. This is my tip for a terrific Tuesday, and don’t let rejection get you down. Use it as an opportunity to redirect yourself.
