The Mindset of a Champion

Aug 20, 2024 | Tip for a Terrific Tuesday

Like many of you, I watched the Olympics.

And from this, I wondered, what are the Olympians’ mindsets that help them reach their goals?

It is obvious that they are able to commit to a long term goal.

We see them at the peak of their sport.

We don’t realize until we read their stories, but while we see them in the Olympics at maybe 19 or 20 years old, they started their sport at around 3, 4, 5, or 6 years old.

Secondly, they commit to excellence.
They want to be the best in their sport, and this is why they practice and do their workout on a daily basis.

And thirdly, they are able to get constant constructive feedback. This is why they have coaches.

And so, if we also want to reach our goals, we have to commit to those long term goals, commit to excellence, and have constructive feedback.
