Failing Forward: What We learn from failure

Apr 4, 2023 | Tip for a Terrific Tuesday

No one likes to fail. I know I don’t. But there are some good things that we can learn from failure that will allow us to fail forward. In fact, successful people study their failures so that they can take what they learn from them to move forward.

Because if we are honest with ourselves, failures help us to understand our strengths and what we are capable of. They give us feedback so we know what we need to do to move forward.

Failures also help us to understand when we need to ask for help. Sometimes the difference between a success and a failure is simply asking someone for help.

So the next time you fail or disappointed about something, don’t get overwhelmed. Study it and see what you can learn from it to fail forward.
