How to Get Redemption After a Setback

Aug 6, 2024 | Tip for a Terrific Tuesday

I hope you’ve had the opportunity to watch the Olympics as I have.

This week, I’ve learned of many inspirational stories, but two stories that I find very powerful and inspirational are the stories of Suni Lee, a young woman who had a physical condition, and Simone Biles, who had a mental condition.

But they were able to turn their setbacks into setups for their success.

So how do we do that when we have a a setback?

You have to acknowledge your emotions, revisit your vision and your goals, reframe the situation, change your mindset, and know that no matter what happens, you are never giving up.

So we can take from Suni Lee and Simone Biles and learn that we too can turn our setbacks into setups.

And I hope that these strategies are beneficial to you.
